Ross Celtic v Campile Utd

Ross Celtic welcomed neighbours Campile United on Friday evening in the first round of this year’s group fixtures. Although Ross Celtic had lots of the ball they failed to create any clear cut chances, being restricted to a few long range efforts. Campile took the lead in the first half with a goal from Dessie Wallace and they went into the half time break leading 1-0. Ross Celtics best chance came from a Keith Katus header which was tipped just over the bar by the Campile keeper. Campile were more clinical and got their second of the night courtesy of Owen Barron. Ross Celtic failed to create any more goal opportunities and the game finished 2-0 to the visitors.
