Enniscorthy Rovers v Rosslare Rangers

Rovers welcomed Rosslare Rangers to Enniscorthy on Friday evening. The game started at a good pace with rovers enjoying a lot of possession early on but not creating to much up front. Rangers had less possession but were creating chances and their goal came from a clever free kick from Paul Culleton and the Rangers Striker was there to nip in and score after a mix up in the Rovers defence. Another mix up nearly led to a Rangers second but Richie Miller pulled off a great save . Rovers finally started creating and won a penalty through Thomas Thorpe and Colin Sheen fired home to make it 1-1. Second half was much the same with not much in the way of chances until rangers got a free kick witch was despatched to the bottom corner by Culleton. It proved to be the winner in a tight game where Rangers deserved their win.
