St Leonards v Duncannon

Duncannon took the spoils in the first over 35s game of the season against St Leonards in a very good game in Dunmain. The first half ended scoreless with few clear-cut goal chances. Both defences coping very well with anything thing that came their way.The second half was much like the first with both teams giving it a real go and the away side took a 2-0 lead with goals from Brendan Harte and Keith Donnelly. That spurred a fightback from the Saints with Tommie Byrne pulling one back soonaftfer. Saints finished the game stronger and were unlucky not to get an equalizer which they probably deserved. So its bragging rights to the Seasiders as they held on for the 2-1 win.
